How Reservations Work

Reserving a vehicle with platinum motorcars is designed to be simple, secure, and personalized from start to finish.
1. Select Your Vehicle & Dates

Browse our fleet and choose the vehicle along with your desired rental dates and duration.

2. Submit a Reservation Request

Complete a reservation request online or contact us directly by phone, text, or email to begin.

3. Verification & Confirmation

Our team will verify driver eligibility, insurance, and availability before confirming your reservation.

4. Payment & Delivery or Pickup

Once payment is secured, your vehicle will be scheduled for pickup or delivered to your preferred location.

All reservations are subject to availability and final approval.

Our rental policies are designed to protect both our clients and our vehicles while ensuring a seamless, professional, and reliable rental experience. Transparency is a priority at Platinum Motorcars, and every reservation is handled with clear expectations, verified details, and concierge-level service from start to finish.

When you reserve a vehicle with us, your reservation is guaranteed. We secure the exact luxury or exotic vehicle you select for your specified dates, eliminating last-minute substitutions or availability issues. Unlike many companies that rely on third-party brokers or external owners, Platinum Motorcars owns and maintains our fleet in-house. This allows us to confidently honor reservations, maintain consistent quality standards, and deliver the vehicle you booked — not a replacement.

These policies outline our requirements, responsibilities, and procedures to ensure every rental is smooth, secure, and executed without surprises.

Driver Eligibility Requirements

To rent a vehicle from Platinum Motorcars, all drivers must meet the following requirements:

  • Meet the 18+ minimum age requirement
  • Possess a valid, non-expired driver’s license
  • Provide proof of full-coverage insurance
  • Be approved prior to the start of the rental period

Additional drivers must be disclosed and approved in advance. Requirements may vary depending on the vehicle.

Payment Deposits, & Fees

All rentals require payment and a security deposit prior to vehicle release.

  • Accepted payment methods are card, cash, apple pay, zelle, crypto, or wire payment
  • Deposits range from $1k-$k depending on the vehicle chosen
  • A refundable security deposit is authorized at pickup or delivery
  • Deposit will be released given that the vehicle is returned in the same original condition
  • Deposit release times vary depending on payment method and bank processing times
  • Additional fees may apply for delivery, excess mileage, late returns, cleaning, or policy violations

Specific amounts are determined by vehicle selection and rental duration.

Mileage & Vehicle Use

Each rental 100 miles per 24 hours. If a shorter rental duration is chosen, such as 6 or 12 hours, the allowed mileage is prorated.  Excess mileage is billed at a per-mile rate. The per-mile rate starts at $3/mile and varies depending on the car selected.

Vehicles may not be used for racing, track events, off-road driving, or any activity outside normal road use. Geographic restrictions may apply, and out-of-state travel must be disclosed in advance.

Insurance & Responsibility

Special or exotic car insurance is not required to rent from Platinum Motorcars. Your existing personal auto insurance policy applies, regardless of the vehicle listed on your policy, provided it includes full coverage.

All renters must carry verifiable comprehensive and collision coverage with a minimum of $100,000 in liability and uninsured property damage coverage. Certain vehicles may require higher limits. In most cases, increasing coverage for the duration of your rental is simple and can often be done through your insurance provider at minimal cost.

Renters assume full responsibility for the vehicle during the rental period, including any damage, loss, or violations incurred while the vehicle is in their possession.

Cancellations & Changes

All reservations are final. Any cancelled or modified reservation will be issued as a credit, which may be applied toward a future rental.

Vehicle Condition & Returns

Vehicles are delivered in clean, inspected condition and must be returned in the same manner.

Cleanliness, damage, and return time will be verified upon return. Additional charges may apply for late returns, excessive cleaning, smoking, or any damage beyond normal wear.

Yes. Travel outside a certain radius of Dallas requires disclosure and approval. Out-of-state travel must be approved in advance.

Do I need to refuel the vehicle?

We provide the car to you with a full tank of gas and do not require you to refuel it before returning.

Do credits expire?

Credits do not expire and may be used at any time, subject to availability.
